The need
A delivery marketplace has four kinds of users with very different needs: people ordering, vendors fulfilling, drivers delivering, and administrators overseeing. Each needs their own tools and access.
What we built
A cross-platform mobile app with a hybrid backend: managed authentication and row-level security for core data, and a REST API for payments and notifications. Admin features went through a dedicated security review and fixes.
What shipped
- Four roles: customers, vendors, drivers, and admins
- M-Pesa STK Push payments and real-time WebSocket notifications
- Vendor menus, order processing, and earnings with revenue split
- Search and filtering, image uploads, and email notifications
