    Access control, audit and offline resilience are the engineering core.

  3. How should a system reconcile when the network, the provider and the user disagree?

    Queued sales, safe retries and rollback plans are shipped practice. The open question is how far it generalises.

  4. Which advanced architectures will matter to enterprises before they are fashionable?

    Research

    Studied ahead of need so that adoption, when it comes, is a decision and not a gamble.

How a direction becomes an offering

The rule we hold ourselves to.

A direction moves to Offered only when we have shipped working software in that area and can show it. We do not move it on ambition, and we do not describe research as a product.
